The Nigeria Football Federation has appointed former u-17 team coach Emmanuel Amuneke as the new Flying Eagles coach after his heroics helped the under-17 Nigeria team to success in last year’s FIFA U-17 tournament in Chile.
The news of his appointment was confirmed by the football body who passed a communique after it’s executive board meeting in Abuja on Tuesday. Amuneke, who was named African Footballer of the Year in 1994 will be assisted by Kabiru Baleria and Emeka Amadi as assistant coach and goalkeeper trainer respectively.
