Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Amaju Pinnick, has call on all Nigerians to cheer the Golden Eaglets to Victory come Thursday. “The boys had shown they have what it takes to defend the trophy. Our team showed tactical superiority over their Brazilian opponent last Sunday, dismissed them by 3 – 0.”

 “We must commend the coach Emmanuel Amunike. He has done a great job on the boys. What Eaglets team needs now is support and prayer. Just two games to go and they become Champions again.” Pinnick said.
Golden Eaglets will be facing Mexico at Semi Finals. Both countries have met at this level three times, as Nigeria won 2 times, scoring a whooping 9 goals as against Mexico’s once and just 2 goals.
The Semi Final schedule also shows that Nigerian team has upper hands Head to Head. The Nigerian side has scored 17 goals and only conceded 3; while Mexico scored 12 and conceded only 2. See the Match schedule below:
